Strategic Compliance Lead

Robert Silva is a proud Dunghutti and Kamilaroi man, born in Sydney. After moving to Kempsey, he has spent around 30 years working across a variety of roles in different organisations, including approximately 20 years in the Child Protection sector. He currently supports Learning the Macleay as Strategy and Compliance Lead, ensuring compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and funding requirements. Robert plays a key role in developing robust governance systems, embedding risk management practices, and promoting cultural safety across all operations. Actively involved in his community, he enjoys seeing young people grow in culture, resilience, and pride.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys watching footy, dancing, and socialising with family and friends.
